Nintendo Wii games include a super selection of action and adventure games. You could almost say it is Nintendo's strength. The biggest name I can think of is the Mario series of games. They are legendary and are a integral part of the world's culture, but Mario is not alone. You've got the amazing Zelda games as well as Donkey Kong, Resident Evil, and the list just goes on.
